My name is Joanna. I live in Poland, and most of my work takes place outdoors in fields at the end of summer, on forest paths in the early morning, in light that lasts only about twenty minutes before fading.

I run this website to keep my photos local and to allow me to write a little about how they come about: about places I return to, places I find by chance, and what my day was like.

I post daily. What I'm working on now is collected here.
